The Texas Regional Collaboratives for Excellence in Mathematics Teaching (TRC) is an award-winning statewide network of partnerships that provide sustained and high intensity professional development to teachers of mathematics across the state. This infrastructure of over 40 institutions of higher education collaborating with the Texas Education Agency, Education Service Centers, school districts, and business partners, has a 25-year track record of designing and implementing exemplary professional development using research-based instructional models, materials, and best practices.

The Texas Regional Collaborative Region 2 is committed to transforming the culture of professional development into one that commits to a high quality, sustained, and results-driven support system that has a positive impact on teacher performance and student achievement.

The TRC Mathematics Collaborative Region 2 is a cohort of 40 mathematics teachers, grades 4 through Algebra 1, who receive 100+ hours of professional learning with the goal of improving their instruction and sharing what they learn with mathematics teachers at their campuses.
